Also had the pleasure of riding with Jason from BMA, who's not seen the gravel part of the ride before. It's my cross bike commute between Boulder and Louisville, and I'm pretty lucky to have it (and more lucky to have the new trail at Mashall Mesa that makes for a good connection). It feels mighty remote to be riding on the plains and see only 2 cars and 1 bike over the course of 2 hours!

I like riding that area quite a bit. Fun stuff at night. Things will be super good next summer (hopefully) when they get a few more miles of connective trail going. We'll have to cruise down that a ways on a Thurs, too. Maybe meet up a little closer to 5:45ish in your neck of the woods or S Boulder. I like riding from the S Boulder Trailhead off Baseline then down to 93 and connect in with Marshal Mesa and Community Ditch. It ends up being a moderately long ride (24mi) with a good mix of terrain. That road always feels friggin cold though. Something next week? Good full moon ride...
