Sheldon Brown
If you don't know who Sheldon Brown is, you should. This man knows bikes like no other and is a genuine character, in general. Peace, Sheldon, and I hope things are going well for you. Good luck with all you've got going on right now.

Damn, I had never heard of the guy and hadn't been on my bike for, uh, a while, but after reading some of his articles I'm ready to run out and get myself a fixed geared single speed! The guy has a killer beard, too. Best of luck, Sheldon.
If'n you ever want to build yourself some wheels, Sheldon has about the best how to out there, as well. That's how Chaybo and I both learned (well, mostly).

He's been a huge resource for me, super bummer.
Very inspiring. I've never met Sheldon but I can tell by the beard that I wish I have and hope to, better yet get out on a ride.
