Tuesday Ride - 6pm at the shop for Hall

Good ride tonight. We had a pretty big crew. Lots of different types of bikes and riding styles. The skies opened up, though, and just started absolutely dumping on us on the loop. The ride back down was a wet one. The thunder and lightning had subsided a little so we rolled back down the front side.

Sorry Ryan, didn't get any pics of the step. Check this link out, though. You might see what you're looking for. I'll try to snap a shot next time I'm out.

Could someone take a picture of the big step and the rock stack to the uphill right... For further clarification: the big step is on the left the "ramp" is in the middle and the rock stack is on the right. It a small boulder infront of a larger boulder with a medium sized boulder on top. You go over this stack make a sharp turn to the left and either go through the deep v-groove to a rock garden or, you have the option to ride up the granite ramp and bypass the groove to the rock garden.

Does this make sense to anyone? If someone could take a photo of the stack that would be great. I'm xeriscaping my yard and want to add in some mtb obstacles.

I wasn't in the mood for the rain so i took the easy way home. I'll catch up later.

Weird that you guys got rain on, as we were up on CR80 letting our dogs swim in the creek and it was nothing but blue skies. We were there until a little after 7:30, maybe we just left in time.

7:30ish was when it started dumping. Cleared up right around 8:30 of course.

I went home and napped. And went to bed early. But i'm feeling much better now.

I'll be away the next couple weeks, but back in mid August. I'll have to make it out.

Nice ride. You guys who can blast up the front side of Hall without stopping are sick. I had to try a few of the uphill obstacles several times. Thats a fun section of trail, even nicer when its not so hot out.
