Sorry for the late notice on this one...
In Lyons on Tuesday, July 26, 6:30pm, there will be an informational meeting to discuss possible trail alignments and alternatives for connecting Heil Ranch open space with the Town of Lyons. This is a HUGE deal. This will provide local access to Heil open space with no driving required. It would also open a great area for riding just south of Town. For those of you from Boulder and the south - how about riding Hall Ranch from Left Hand Canyon all on dirt?
Anyway, it's an informational meeting, but the NIMBYS, guaranteed, will be out in full force. If you can, please show up. If you have an opinion, please speak up. The time to get organized for this is right now. The Lyons NIMBYS have already joined forces and rounded up a petition to keep a trail out of their "back yard." They have a lot of money and they're very organized.

...the meeting is at Oddfellows Hall. Drive into town to the first stoplight at 4th ave. Take a right and Oddfellows Hall is immediately on your left. It is just behind the Lyons Soda Fountain.
