Mondays Pain

We rode Buchanan Pass a few weeks back.  It was late in the day and a little muddy but all in all a good day.  We went up Middle St Vrain and down BP, a good and efficient way to do the loop.

I was once again feeling the call of the Indian Peak and BP.  Fueled by a stressful weekend and a need to hurt more than normal, I took my REEB Cycles singlespeed up to the peak to peak for a little Buchanan Pass lovin.   It did not dissapoint. The skies and temps were perfect and the trail was in fantastic shape.  The loop proved to be quite good on a 29er SS, although I walked more than I care to admit on Coney Flats.

A great day in the high country today.  Better get some yourself,  too, cause our time will be limited before you know it!

8/9 tuesday ride

Lights mandatory for this Tuesdays ride.  Technical terrain and dark - its going to be good.

REEB Cycles!

After getting all of the REEB Cycles pre ordered bikes built, I finally got to build mine.  Man, this thing is oh so sweet.  44mm headtube so we can run a tapered Fox 120 15qr, a super smooth Gates Carbon Drive system, and an absuloutely beautiful handmade steel frame.  Oh yes.

TNR 7/12

5:30pm at the bike shop, as always.  BRING A TAIL LIGHT.  We'll be finishing up in the dark on the highway.   You'll probably want to bring raingear too but you knew that :)

Solstice Ride!

This Tuesday will be our annual solstice ride.   Meet up at the bike shop at 5:30. There IPA a strong chance that we won't be back to OB by kitchen by close time so be prepared.  LIGHTS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED.

First DST Tuesday ride of the year 5:30

Howdy folks.  Now that DST is in full effect, Tuesday rides will be meeting at the shop at 5:30.  This week, we'll pedal from the shop.  BRING LIGHTS! After we're off of county OS legally by dusk, we'll click the lights on to hit up a little LGS action.  Can't wait!

Tuesday ride 2/22

Get your snow gear on, we're riding high on Tues 2/22. Meetup at the shop at 6 and we'll caravan up to the frozen reaches of Peaceful Valley.  You don't know winter riding until you've ridden frozen Nordic trails at night!

Tues ride 11/23

Join us for our pre Thanksgiving Tuesday ride.  Meet up at the shop at 6pm and we'll take it from there.  We'll do a trail conditions check and male the call at the shop.   Another round of Left Hand perhaps?  A sides this time?

11/16 Tuesday ride Left Hand!

Left Hand OHV is a callin'.  I got up there today for a little recon ride and found conditions to be most excellent.   Meet at Redstone Cyclery at 6pm or the OHV main entrance at 630ish.

Tuesday RMNP Cross Ride

The forecast for Tues looks great! So far, the plan for RMNP ride is a GO!

Meet up at the shop at 5:30p to caravan. We'll drive up to Estes and park at the start of Fall River Rd. We'll ride up Fall River Rd and back over and down on Trail Ridge. Most of this ride will happen in the dark.

You will need:

Change if clothes ( think cold descent, really cold )

Food

Front light - a real bike light. At the speeds you'll hit on the descent, a camp light or commuter light will not cut it.

Haven't been to Jamestown in a while.  Bring lights (real bike lights).  Opening climb will be about 1.5 hours so be prepared :)  Redstone at 5:30!

Since the higher up terrain IA a mixes bag yet, let's suffer thru one more session at Left Hand. Bike shop at 5:30, trailhead at 6ish.

Tuesday Nite Ride will be at Left Hand Canyon OHV area.  Meet up at Redstone at 5:30 or shoot to be at Left Hand around 6.  I'm getting tired of Heil and Hall.  Can't wait to get my forest fix!

Tuesday Nite Ride 4/6

The local Lyons trails are in good shape with a little mud.  With all of the local stuff ready to rock, we should pedal from the shop. 5:30 not so sharp!  How about we bust out the Wheel of Rides?

LFTFX

Sitting down with some maps tonight and I think I've the big daddy route all thunk up.  Expect not one, but two grueling hike a bikes and possibly a few more depending on how you're feeling at the time.  All kinds of riding surface from paved hwy to death defying (well, maybe not exactly death defying) singletrack.  Even you regulars will even see some new terrain.  I'm going to have to train for this one.  9 hours?  Too much?  Cause I can dumb it down.  :)

Road Sloggin

It was a blustery and sloppy day today.  The rural roads of Boulder County were mixed conditions ranging from uber sloppy to not quite so bad.  All in all, it was still a good day.  I was on the bike after all.

No Tuesday ride for me tomorrow, but I'll be back for more next week.
